Soccer!

NK is playing soccer this spring season for Upward. These pics are just of her first practice. Guess who forgot the camera to her first 2 games. Well, it's just lucky we made it to the game with both children and all our heads. After the first 3 practices I was very apprehensive of how she would do at her first game. (She was the child during practice that completely ignored her teammates having a scrimage and spun herself in a circle till she fell down.) She surprised us by paying attention to the game and doing really well. She was a bit silly at times but I think really tried her best and even scored a goal! Yes for her team not the other team. Go NK-soccer girl!

These are the 3 months and 4 year pictures of the girls. I do realize there are more pics of NK than Vivi. Most of the pictures were going vertical and I cannot turn them. Also all the family pics were vertical which does not upset me at all (not the best picture time for mommy). Can you find the pic of Naomi Kate where she looks like a movie star?

2nd bday


1st bday

We had a great 4 year old bday party! I seperated them this year; kid party and adult party. NK really enjoyed both! Thank you everyone for coming and celebrating with us. Also thank you for the prayers as I returned to work and the prayers for NK's recovery from her stomach flu or whatever it was. Vivi also had a great day at the babysitters today!










Did anyone see the baby? There was only one photo of her and you couldnt even see her outfit or face. I may have to fire my photographer after this years bday pics. She was really cute in her little dress up tutu. I'll have to dress her back up in it and take her pic for everyone.

A picture is not as good as the real thing

This post is really for my school kids b/c I told them I would bring Vivi in to see them but she is still sick so I can not bring her. I know pictures aren't as good but they will have to do for now.

Happy New Year!

We decided as parents of small children that we didn't want to get a babysitter for that we should have an early New Years Party. So we got together from 5-9 and had a pretend countdown at 8. Well actually we were all playing and talking and forgot at 8 so it was about 8:03. Then everyone was able to be at home and in bed by 10. Naomi Kate still tells Josh "Happy New Year" when he comes home from work. Too funny!

Double Christmas 2010

We had lots of happenings and get togethers over Christmas. Christmas Eve Eve we had with Nana. Christmas Eve with PopPop and MomMom. Christmas Day with the Grissom's. Friend get together a few days after and a New Year's Eve party that I will post seperately. And a Christmas at Great Grandma's in which we forgot the camera. NK not only got to open all her presents (which was enough to fill a toy store) but all of Vivi's presents also. Hence the titile Double Christmas. Christmas morning was truly fantastic with lots of suprises and happy moments. One of the best moments from Christmas was Scott and Candy opening their gift from all of us. Hopefully their vacation will be super fun and exciting and refreshing after the icky chemo. If you notice one of the pictures has NK playing Uno Moo which has filled up a lot of time, she loves it. If you ask her, her favorite present it will be different every time. We are truly blessed with all the family and gifts.
