Christmas Day at the Grissom's 08

We had a quick nap and headed to Grandmom and Granddad's house for more presents, good food, and good people. Naomi Kate got so much stuff it is unreal. She did not get tired of opening presents but she did throw a fit in the middle because we kept taking presents away and giving her more. She also had a huge blowout for the first time in almost a year and it got everywhere (yes that kind of a blowout). We had to take a tubby in the middle of Dirty Santa. We did get to witness Grandmom's big undies, very funny! Thanks everyone for the awesome presents and wonderful fun!

Christmas Day Morning 08

Yeah, yeah, we got presents! Santa brought Naomi Kate a kitchen and a rocking chair. She really seemed to like everything. She did much better this year with opening presents.










Daddy got a new fishing rod! She liked her new playdoh, and wanted to brush her teeth all day as well as putting it in my back pocket.

Christmas Eve 08

Naomi Kate and I made cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve.




Then we had Pop Pop and Mom Mom over for dessert and of course presents! We loved all of our presents and talking and chatting with them.





Last but certainly not least we left some yummy sugar cookies for Santa. Thanks to Auntie Maggie for her recipe, I think Santa liked them! We also left him some milk...ho ho ho- oh boy he will here soon!

Christmas Eve Eve 08

We celebrated Christmas Eve Eve with Nana. We had yummy turkey, mash tatoes, swee tatoes, geen bean caseroe- all in NK language. We also got presents! Naomi Kate loves her lego blocks and has to dump them all out every time we get them out. She wants to watch vegg tals everyday.

Tree trimming

We had our first annual tree trimming in the Grissom House. It didn't last very long. We had a lot less ornaments than I thought we had. Naomi Kate seemed to enjoy it. Of course we did do this a couple of weeks ago, but I have been busy.

Not Cancer Free

Mom went to an oncologist today. She said mom has an aggressive type of cancer that is all throughout her body. She wants her to do a year of chemo treatments. This is a very scary thing. Mom is really struggling with the right decision to make because she does not want to do the chemo. Please pray for her again, for wisdom and guidance.

Animal Clinic Christmas Party 2008

We had so much fun at Josh's work X-mas party. Naomi Kate loved the kitty (Daisy) and she adored playing with Ashley. Those 2 laughed and laughed and I found them in Dr. Flatt's shower twice! We were so excited to get a big fish pillow and the super duper underwear. Enjoy the pics.

Breakfast with Santa 2008

Naomi Kate had a blast at the breakfast with Santa. She absolutely loved every bit of it. That is of course the whole sitting on Santa's lap thing. I knew before we got up there that she would probably scream and throw a fit and she did. It might have been better if Josh had been there to help and take the picture but I had to drop her in Santa's lap and dash to take the picture. Here are some of the pics from the day. She loved seeing Madi again and playing with her.
