Marshmallow Meila

Not sure if you knew but we got a new kitty last week. Ms. Boo (our oldest cat) had taken to pooping on the floor since we moved to our new house. She recently started peeing also on the floor. The carpet in our bonus room is going to have to be professionally cleaned I believe. Needless to say we tried everything to get her to stop but it was a behavioral problem and she was set in her ways. We were either going to put her down or give her away. Mom graciously offered to take her and says she is doing fantastic at her house. Everything really fell into place when a nice couple from Josh's work brought in a black (with a little white) kitten they couldn't keep. We kinda did a swapperoo with Ms. Boo and the new kitten. Josh and I had some apprehensions about Naomi Kate really missing Ms. Boo but since we got the new kitty, Ms. Boo has only been a fading memory. Kids are so funny like that! We decided to name her Meila (yes that was a short-lived baby name) and NK has taken to her Grandad's way of naming everything after food thus the Marshmallow Meila name. She is too cute, tiny, snuggly, and very sweet. We are hooked!

The pictures are not the best I know. This 3 year old loves to say "Cheeeeeeeseeeeeee!!!!" but doesn't apparently understand the words "Look at the camera, sweetie."
On a side note does anyone like the name Chloelle?

Jackson's Orchard 2010

Okay so, who remembers the picture troubles we had on Easter with Connor, Emma, and NK? When one looks good the others do not and so on. Well, same goes for babies staying put in the same place and asking them to smile all at the same time! The pictures of the 3 of them should really crack everybody up. Did I mention it was hard to get them to stay still.
We had so much fun! When I asked Naomi Kate what her favorite part was she of course said the big slide. Thanks to Mag and Rach, she was able to go on the slide. There was no way I was gonna get up that high with this big belly. Ty wasn't a big fan of the slide but GG kept saying "gin" so it was fun times for Mag. Although she said the slide was her favorite, the first thing she told Josh when he got home was all about the wagon ride. The best part for me was my sweet friends, their adorable babies, and the fabulous apple cider slush and caramel apple (only $3.00 I might add)!!

We haven't been to the Orchard since NK was about 18 months. Here is a now and then comparison. Wow!

Baby names

We have really had a hard time with child as far as names go. Just still have no idea what to pick! Josh has been a lot more stubborn about what he likes this time. He is constantly telling me that there are tons of dogs with that name or that is a mean cat's name at the clinic. NK wants her name to be Daisy Rose and any name we tell her or suggest she puts the middle name as Rose. If you have a good name to suggest please leave it in the comments section or vote for one that we are considering (poll on the sidebar). Thanks for your help and input!
