Selling our 1st home

Josh and I have come to a decision to sell our condo. We would greatly appreciate your prayers in our endeavor to sell and then buy a house. Our condo is meanwhile in a state of repair and uproar. Dot has been a wonderful help so far. She stayed here all day Saturday till 1am painting our cabinets and she came last night to start painting our bathroom! She is the best painter we know! Here are just a few snips of the crazy house. Snow days are great for catching up on your blog!

Praise the Lord!

Mom is almost out of surgery and the doctors checked her lymph nodes for more cancer. She is clear!!! We are so thankful to the Lord for his blessing of no other cancer in her body.

Grissom Thanksgiving

We had a great time at the Grissom's for Thanksgiving! We ate and laughed and ate some more. Naomi Kate had the BEST time with the big kids! She loved jumping on them and screaming and playing, she got really upset with me when I took away from them. I made a slideshow of the occasion.

Thanksgiving Day

We had a great time at Thanksgiving! It was so good to see everyone and especially nice to see H.N. and Marge that came all the way from California and Rachel and Reid that came from Mississippi. Aunt Carol did a great job cooking all the food and we loved all the pies! Hopefully, next year NK will stay the whole time and not have to go home for a nap. Enjoy the pics.

Calling all prayer warriors!

We found out today that my mom (Nana) has cancer. It is in a lump she found on her chest. It is in Stage 1 and the doctors seem positive about it. They will be removing the lump and checking the rest of her for cancer. She will have to do 5 weeks of radiation. I am asking that you please pray for her and that things will go smoothly and she will recover fully. Thank you so much for caring and praying!

Pumpkin Carving

We had our first anual pumpkin carving at the Joshua Grissom's house. It was lot so fun! Naomi Kate was very excited before we opened the pumpkin. Then she did not want to put her hand in it and get the guts out. She got upset with her daddy when he dumped some on her and insisted on using the scooper and spoon to stir the trash guts. It was all very cute.




She had a fun time drinking out of her pumpkin cup.
Here is our finished product. Daddy did most all the work and NK and I got the seeds ready to roast.

Flashback! Halloween

This was NK last year for Halloween and you have seen her this year as the adorable cheerleader.








Grandmom got really tired of blowing bubbles by the end of the night. But NK loved it so much she just couldn't stop! We had a great Halloween with Granddad and Grandmom.


We have already picked out next year's Halloween costume. Can anyone say Little Red Riding Hood??
