Summer Fun 09

"We go swimmin" was all I heard after I found our beach bag on Monday. We finally went on Wednesday and she was very pleased to be there and didn't want to leave again just like at the sprinkles. Check our her 2 piece swimsuit her Grandmom bought her. Ahhhhh! My daughter is scantly clad!



Well, you see how I handled that. Cover it with a life jacket! Just kidding Dot. ;)

Nicole invited us to come play with Maddie and Ellie last Thursday. Naomi Kate had a blast with the sisters and Ellie, I think may be a doctor- a working mom with a baby.



We really enjoyed the June birthday party on Friday night! Notice our happy cheese right before we got "icereeem" and our super fun with Uncle "Sock".

The "Sprinkles"

Sprinkles you say, yum. Not these sprinkles. You say- wet! Naomi Kate and I went to the sprinklers in the Streets of Indian Lake today and the only trouble we had was leaving (when we screamed "NO NO NO!"). She really enjoyed it even when the water shot up in her face she ran to me giggling and said "da wader got me!"

Psalm 23

NK and I have been working on learning the 23rd Psalm for a while now. She can say it better than in this video but, I may never get it so here it is.

Nevermind

Well, the people that wanted the condo couldn't get the financing so, we are still trying to sell. blah- very depressing. Please pray for us- we really want the new house but can't get it until we sell.

We sold! We bought!

We finally sold the condo! We are very excited about buying a new construction house! Continue to pray that everything works out with money stuff. I will get a picture up as soon as Josh emails it to me!

Kick-off to Summer Family Reunion

Naomi Kate really enjoyed the House Family Renioun this year! She hasn't had a day like that ever! She played all day and didn't have a nap till about 5:00. The playground was a little wet when we first got there but that didn't stop her. We didn't get any pics of her going down the spiral slide but she did that at least 50 times. We didn't visit a whole lot with the family b/c someone wanted to play! It was a good kick-off to summer. The next day she got to play all day at Granddad and Grandmom's also. Mommy and Daddy went house hunting. We are really hoping that someone will buy the condo so we can move into our dream house soon! Please pray for us!












Thank you for your continued prayers for mom (Nana) she is doing well. She has to continue the chemo for the rest of the year but not the bad stuff. She will also be doing radiation soon. We would appreciate your continued prayers for her.

Sweet video

We have been busy playing outside, finding caterpillars, ladybugs, and ants. We have lots of those nasty red fire ants that NK wants me to pick up and give her b/c she thinks they are ladybugs. We did find a ladybug the other day and she absolutely loved it! She wanted to hold it and it crawled up her arm. We also had our first eating on our own icecream experience and we went shopping with Nanna. The best part of this post is NK singing read your bible and pray everyday song and the B-I-B-L-E song. Then you will notice at the end she tells me she has to pee-pee. Yes, that's right ladies and gentlemen NK is potty trained. She has an occasional accident and still wears diapers at nap and bedtimes but she is using the potty on a regular basis and has done really well with it. We are so proud of her!
Yes, the icecream stained her new outfit but thank goodness for Shout stain remover!
