Updates for all!

Well, we are in the process of buying a house in Gallatin now. We are in contract on the condo and have put an offer on this house in Gallatin. We both really feel good about this but would love your continued prayers!

Gnarly 90's Party

Happy Birthday Josh! We had a 90's party for Josh's 29th birthday. He turned 29 on 9-9-09. Thanks to all that came we really loved seeing everyone. Since it was the Vandy game David had Mag and GG where Vandy stickers. Naomi Kate loved GG's sticker and just had to have one much to Auntie Rachel's dislike. ;) We appreciate Bobby and Mary Jo letting us use their big beautiful house! Enjoy our outfits- there were many very good ones.

Prayers Needed!

Well, our buyer for our condo was unable to get a loan. The circumstances were stinky, we found out the night before the closing. Now we are still living with Dot and Gary b/c we are unsure of what to do now. Please continue to pray for us and what is best. We know God is in control and He has the answers.
NK is really enjoying the fabulous audience she has here at Grandmom and Granddad's house. We went to visit Nana and the kitties on Saturday. We really enjoyed seeing Ms. Boo and Mr. BoBo. They are doing okay and we think liked seeing us again.

We are officially living at Grandmom and Granddad's condo now! We are set to close this coming Wednesday. Yeah! Josh borrowed cousin Darrell's big loud truck to help move us. It was really cute to watch him drive down the road in this big manly truck with NK's pink step stool peeking out the top of the bed. If all goes as planned we will be in our new house by December 2nd. Yeah again! Continue to keep me in your prayers for school situations- the cops were called this week for one of my students. That is just the tip of the iceburg. I will try to post a picture of us at our condo for the last time soon.

It's been so long!

Sorry I haven't blogged in a long time. School has been keeping me super busy and I come home brain-dead and unable to do any kind of activity other than make lunches for the next day, finish laundry, cook dinners, and get ready for the next day. We have sold the condo again! We are very excited and have started packing up this time. Please keep us in your prayers- I am having an especially hard beginning of the school year. I balled all the way home yesterday. Josh has been so fantastic taking care of me since I am a big mess right now.

Zoo Trip 09

We really enjoyed the zoo! Naomi Kate was enthralled with all the animals but the meerkat's especially. We got to take one home with us and that was the best to her. Now she sleeps with her "murkat" everynight. Check out the pic of me as a jakal- very funny. Nk and I rode the caurosel and I actually liked it. I thought it would make me want to vomit but this was not the case. Thank you Lord.
On a side note: Mom is done with her radiation treatment and is really feeling the burn. The doc said it would get worse before better- kinda like NK's tantrums. She still has to do chemo for the remainder of the year but guess what... The year is over half way finished! Thanks for your continued prayers.

Carp's Wedding

"Naomi Kate, where is mommy going?" says Daddy in his matter of fact tone. "Iiiooowwaau." NK drawls out. "And what is in Iowa?" Daddy asks. NaKa just looks at him. "Nothin!" Daddy says.
Well, the truth is there was "uh reddin" in NK language. I rode with my friend from school Sheri up to Iowa for another school friends wedding this past weekend. It took us about 9 hours to get there and 7 to get back. We got stuck in lots of rain on the way. We had a blast dancing the night away and driving through the corn fields (only scenery there was).
We will miss Kristen! She is moving to St. Louis with her new hubby.
